Specialty Underwriters LLC (SU) has been added to the list of contracted suppliers effective July 1, 2005.
SU's equipment maintenance program features significant cost savings (30% discount on maintenance contracts for office automation, computers, lab and other electronic equipment; 20% discount for medical and patient care related equipment); access to an extensive database of vendor and equipment information; expanded coverage for your equipment to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including all weekends and holidays; and the ability to use your same service providers or choose new ones.
If your equipment is currently under a maintenance contract, send a copy of your current contract and recent maintenance billing invoices to Tim Peterson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If your equipment is not under a maintenance contract please submit the following information, along with a competitive quote to Tim Peterson at email@example.com
- Equipment description
- Make, model, serial number
- Equipment location (department name and address)
- Original purchase price (if available)
- Local vendors cost proposal

Service for Covered Equipment: Call TELESERVE at 1-800-833-7050. If you need to troubleshoot problems with your vendor over the phone, call TELESERVE first to initiate a service incident and to obtain a P.O. number to provide to your service vendor.
Specialty Underwriters will bill the University quarterly.
