I.    SCOPE

      This policy establishes the requirements for earning a dual (double) degree and a

      joint degree.

II.   POLICY

      Dual (Double) Degree

      An undergraduate student may simultaneously pursue two distinct academic degree

      programs within a school, for which two degrees are awarded, providing that the

      student:

      -     Completes all of the requirements for both degrees

      -     Completes a minimum of 30 credits beyond one degree

      -     Completes any additional requirements specified by the respective school or

            campus in which the degrees are earned

      Joint Degree

      A student may pursue an academic program which stipulates completion of all or

      most of the requirements of two distinct academic degree programs, administered

      by two or more schools within the University, for which two degrees are awarded.
